The journey to the 2026 International Axe Throwing Championship (IATC) is officially underway!
We are thrilled to host Round 1 of the Wilson Cup right here at The Cut Axe Throwing this weekend. This is the first step for our qualifiers to secure their place in the double-elimination brackets in Toronto this May.

Round 1 Schedule at The Cut
Round 1 competition will be held at our venue during the following times:
Saturday, March 21: 11:00 AM – 1:00 PM
Sunday, March 22: 3:00 PM – 6:00 PM (Standard League Time)
Match Format: Competitors will participate in a unique format consisting of 75 hatchet throws and 15 big axe throws, all scored using Premier rules.
Registration Instructions
All qualifiers must register through the official IATF portal to participate.
Register Online: Visit the Wilson Cup Round 1 Registration page on the IATF website.
Fee: The registration fee is $45.00 USD.
Provide Your AxeScores ID: You will need your unique AxeScores ID during checkout to verify your qualification.
Declare Your Venue: Ensure you select The Cut Axe Throwing as your intended Round 1 venue.
Keep Your Receipt: Have your registration receipt ready (digital or printed) when you arrive for your heat.
What’s Next?
Following this weekend, the top-performing players from our club will receive invitations to Round 2 in Toronto (May 27–31, 2026). Ranking is determined primarily by the total score of your 75 hatchet throws.
